We have been growing trees in our small family-run nursery in Taynuilt, Argyll on the west coast of Scotland since 1993, and have seen around 1.5 million of our trees planted in Argyll and the islands in that time.

We specialise in tree species native to North Argyll; all our stock is traditionally grown in the open ground from seed we collect ourselves in the surrounding woods. We are happy to sell trees in ones or in thousands.

We use a traditional rotational growing system so our trees develop strong root systems in a humus rich soil, mimicking that of a typical woodland. To produce hardy trees the growing conditions in the nursery are very close to those of local planting sites with plenty of wind and rain! Our trees are individually hand-lifted and graded and have excellent survival rates; getting your woodland off to the best possible start.
